JERUSALEM MISSION 2017
HIGHLIGHTS
Departure of the team made up of Visio members and FIRE CHURCH students on Tuesday 17/02/2017 around 12pm, arriving around 6pm just as the sub-prefect and mayor were touring the area. What a confidence that will let the populations believe that our vehicles were part of their procession!!!!
After a warm welcome from the hosts, the caravan immediately headed for the chief's home, where it took part in a meeting held there.
The next day, a major evangelization campaign was held in the former youth hostel, a large building capable of holding over 1,000 people but now in ruins. A strong mobilization during the two-day evangelization campaign brought the salvation of souls.
Other activities included medical consultations, distribution of Bibles to the people of Isandja, and a ceremony to regularize marriages through nuptial blessings.
a visit of physical and financial support from the regional in the person of Reverend NDEBE Simon, who came to see the realities at first hand. This visit was a great encouragement to the team.
In addition to the various needs we listed for the smooth running of our missions, namely: the lack of logistical equipment (tents, speakers, projectors, micro-ballad player, extension set, etc.), but also the challenge of building the missionary's house.
